My Everyday Green Smoothie Recipe

I am taking the day to reset my systems after a week of being on my period and feeling a little off with my nutritional intake. I really tried to listen to my body and been taking it slow and significantly decreased my workouts and “musts”. But I’m excited to regain that physical power back and work that energy out from within.

This is a smoothie I’ve been making for many years now and it doesn’t matter what mood I’m in - this one always tastes delicious! Some ingredients are key to get the right texture and taste but please experiment and find your own recipe that suits you!

Put everything in a blender; frozen bananas, frozen mango, lemon/lemon juice, pealed ginger, spinach, kale, milk of choice, water, any green powders or superfoods you have laying around. I’m using pureness green powder mix here and chaga drops! 🤍

The frozen fruits can be hard on the blender if they’re straight from the freezer. I usually wait a few minutes before I blend so I won’t break the container. I learned the hard way and, yes - it was green smoothie all over me and the kitchen…

Serve in your favorite glass an add a straw - viola!

Ps. I usually just add any greens or fruits that I have laying around that are going bad aswell. Smoothies and soups are that perfect way of reducing waste! Lately I’ve been adding frozen peas, zucchini and apples…the sweetness from the bananas and mangos make it really easy to forgive any unusal flavor that might pop in! The only surprise might be the chunkier texture. So skip this part If you’re sensitive to that! Ds.

Stay Sparkly,
